What areas do you service?
We primarily operate across Gauteng, including Centurion, Pretoria, Johannesburg, Midrand, and Sandton. We also take on projects in other provinces depending on the scope - get in touch and we'll let you know.
How long has Fibre Cabling Solutions been in business?
Founded in 2018, our team brings decades of collective experience in fibre optic cabling and network infrastructure. We've completed thousands of installations across commercial, industrial, and residential environments.
Do you work with both businesses and residential clients?
Yes. While our core focus is commercial and industrial installations, we also handle residential estate fibre rollouts and home network cabling projects.
Are your installers certified?
Absolutely. Our technicians hold relevant industry certifications and undergo regular training to stay current with the latest fibre optic and network cabling standards.

Services

What's the difference between fibre optic cabling and network cabling?
Fibre optic cabling uses glass or plastic strands to transmit data as light pulses - it's faster, supports longer distances, and is immune to electromagnetic interference. Network cabling (copper) uses Cat5e, Cat6, or Cat6a cables and is ideal for shorter runs within a building, like connecting computers and phones to the network.
Do you provide emergency fibre repair services?
Yes. We offer 24/7 fibre break response for emergency situations. If your fibre link goes down, contact us immediately and we'll prioritise getting you back online.
Can you install CCTV alongside network cabling?
Definitely. Many of our projects combine network cabling with CCTV installation, as IP cameras run on the same infrastructure. This saves time and money by doing everything in one project.
Do you hire out cherry pickers without an operator?
We offer cherry picker hire with or without a licensed operator. If you need just the machine, we can arrange that. If you need a trained driver, we have licensed cherry picker operators available for hire as well.
What is access flooring and do I need it?
Access flooring (also called raised flooring) creates a space between the structural floor and the walking surface. This space is used to run cables, cooling systems, and power distribution neatly. It's essential for data centres and server rooms, and highly recommended for any environment with dense cabling needs.

How do I get a quote?

Is a site survey always required?
For most commercial projects, yes - a site survey helps us design the most efficient solution and provide an accurate quote. For smaller or straightforward jobs, we can sometimes quote based on a phone consultation and photos.
How long does a typical installation take?
It depends on the project scope. A small office network might take a day, while a large commercial fibre installation could take several weeks. We'll give you a clear timeline as part of your quote.
Do you offer maintenance contracts?
Yes. We offer ongoing support and maintenance contracts that include scheduled maintenance visits, priority emergency response, and regular infrastructure health checks. This keeps your network running at peak performance.

What personal information do you collect?
When you submit a query or contact us, we collect your name, email address, phone number (optional), company name (optional), and your message. We do not collect any unnecessary personal information.
How do you protect my personal information?
